Our insulated sectional overhead doors are used on industrial applications where insulation is a key factor of the structure. They provide access and security to warehouses, mechanic bays, and many other locations.
Ideally suited to industrial applications. Each door is counterbalanced by means of tempered helical springs at high level, mounted on bright steel plates with self aligning roller bearings for smooth quiet operation. Cable tensioning devices are fitted as standard to all doors. Rubber seals are fitted to the top and bottom of each door with PVC seals to each side of the opening for protection against weather.
Manual operation by means of continuous galvanised hand chain, or in smaller cases, 'push up' with pull down cord. All manually operated doors are fitted with a recessed lifting handle and spring loaded shootbolt as standard. Electric operation by means of 415 volts 3Ph. supply drive motor with emergency disconnection and hand chain or push up operation in the event of power failure.
Panels
Kingspan 610 mm deep x 40 mm thick composite panels manufactured using 0.5 thick hot dipped zinc coated (to BS EN 10147) steel internal and external facing sheets, each with a class 1 surface spread of flame when tested to BS 476: Part 7:1971. These sheets are bonded together using a CFC free foam which has a density of 40kg/m3. The panel itself gives a “U” value of 0.45 W/m2 K, meaning that a typical 4,000 x 3,500 (W x H) door fitted and tested gives a “U” value of 0.9 W/m2 K when installed, and has a formed tongue and grooved hinged joint incorporating a neoprene seal running the full length of the panel to give excellent weather resistance.
Finishes
Standard finish panel finish is Stucco embossed with RAL9010 white polyester finish. However we can paint the panels to most BS or RAL colour number.
The standard plastisol colours available are Goosewing Grey BS10A05, Merlin Grey BS10B25, Azure Blue BS18C39, Sapphire Blue RAL5003, Khaki Green BS12B21, Leaf Green RAL6002, Olive Green BS12B27, Vandyke Brown BS08B29, Flame Red BS04E53, Sunflower Yellow BS10E55 and Cornflower Blue BS18E53.
