From a distance BIS Crime Shield merely gives the impression that the windows are fitted with tinted glass; but at close quarters it's a visible deterrent to would-be burglars or glass smashing vandals.

BIS Crime Shield unobtrusively protects property and glazing by preventing access to windows but it doesn't prevent the occupant of a room from escaping at speed if the need arises.

A cleverly designed and patented 'quick release' mechanism can be operated, from the inside, by one hand. The clearly marked latch needs no separate key and is protected by a special enclosure to deflect drill penetration attempts.
